On The House was borne out of the frustration of national dining clubs being geographically spread out and overly transactional.Surely, we thought, eating out is about the experience. If you want to save money, eat at home! .We set about hunting for the the best of the best local restaurants and tap them for what they’re really good at: their hospitality. On The House is about making diners – members – feel extra special when they eat out. Getting the special attention, the extra value, the more impressive experience.Don’t you feel gratified when you’re told, don’t worry, 'it’s on the house’?Mark started to curate a collection of local restaurants that had fabulous word-of-mouth reputations for their food and service and were exceptionally good at what they do. Whether high-end cuisine by award winning TV chefs, or just a really good at making excellent pizzas. As a seasoned marketing professional Mark wanted to apply his digital marketing skills in an area he was passionate about: food and drink. On The House is a win:win.Restaurants need a channel to reach serious diners on their doorstep. Diners want to discover new venues but with a low risk. So, On The House become not just a club for diners to find excellent added value eating out experiences, but a platform for invitation-only restaurants to present their offerings to new customers. On The House is personal. It’s local. It’s a trusted source for discovering new well-regarded local restaurants, whether hidden gems or gourmet giants.Enjoy the ride.
